STORY

BITKRAFT began in 2016 by Founding General Partner Jens Hilgers, gaming industry veteran and co-founder of esports league ESL ($1 billion exit). He was joined by Founding General Partner Scott Rupp, growing the firm into a global network of pioneering innovators and founders across interactive and immersive entertainment.

FUNDS

BITKRAFT Ventures operates six funds — four equity, two crypto — with $1.05 billion in assets under management (AUM). BITKRAFT launched its sixth fund in April 2024 for $275 million, which will specialize in gaming content and IP, tech and platforms (e.g., virtual reality, development tools, backend services), and applied game mechanics (using game mechanics or business models in non-gaming applications).

PORTFOLIO

BITKRAFT focuses on Seed, Series A and Series B funding with over 130 portfolio companies globally. Our companies are focused on game development, applied gaming mechanics applications, tech platforms, Web3, and AI — all as they pertain the interactive entertainment space.
